In the spring of 2015, a team of film and cinema enthusiasts rolled up their sleeves and returned the long-lost cinema back to the people of Ljubljana. Kino Gledališče Bežigrad came back to life with the desire to revive the cinema experience.
The Kino Bežigrad team has created a space where visitors can relax and socialize while watching movies and theater shows, concerts, special TV premieres and, last but not least, broadcasts of sports events.
They always place great emphasis on families and the youngest viewers. They prepare traditional free workshops for them. You will find a combination of the latest film treats and indie films, and they also host weeks of European films for free and indulge in nostalgia watching Slovenian children's film classics on their schedule.
