What Does a Good CTA Button Look Like?
Do customers on your website do what you want them to do?
Would you like to increase your chances?
The Right Words
▶ Customers appreciate it when the provider offers added value, not just the fact that they pay for something and get it.
▶ The text "Buy Now" often sounds harsh these days, which can sometimes repel customers instead of attracting them.
▶ Try something like "Reveal Your Beauty" if you are a clothing company.
Button Shape
▶ Rounded or slightly curved edges attract more clicks because they look friendlier.
▶ Buttons on mobile devices should be wider, as the smaller screen requires more precision when tapping with fingers.
▶ There should be enough space around the button (white space) so that it stands out and invites the customer to use it.
Color
▶ Use contrast (between the button color and the text) for visibility.
▶ When choosing a color for CTA buttons, consider the overall graphic design of your brand and website to achieve visual consistency.
Font
▶ A readable font, without too many embellishments.
▶ Font size - a size of 18 is recommended.
Button Placement
▶ For short texts → in a visible place, under the main text.
▶ For longer texts:
• At the top of the page: so that the customer understands the offer immediately upon visiting the page.
• In the middle: for long pages, it’s good to have a CTA button in the middle to remind the customer of the offer.
• At the bottom of the page: a button at the end of the content or page serves as a final call to action when the user is already familiar with all the information.
Keep these tips in mind to ensure your CTA buttons are effective and user-friendly.
