Sometimes you catch a conversation about CMS and CRM, but you don't know exactly what they are talking about? We'll explain without the boring technical details, we promise.

CMS (CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)

Content management system enables you to create, edit, and manage content (for example, articles, pictures, video ...) on a website. That makes you a content editor. You work in the backend, while your actions are displayed on the frontend.

You can also manage how the website looks like visually. Meaning, what visitors see, when they visit your website.

For easier understanding

You are in your art studio. You paint, move things around, try new things, play around ... It's a place where you have everything in your hand’s reach and creative mess is allowed.

But when you finish your artwork and take it out of the studio, others will see your artwork. But none of those people will ever see the place where your art was created.

Studio = CMS

Artwork = web page

This way, your company can be more organized and efficient in communication with customers.

For easier understanding

You walk down the street and every person who greets you, is automatically entered into your contacts list. Other details about them are also recorded - what they said, what were they wearing, what the weather was like at the time...

The next time your paths cross, you continue the conversation based on this information.
